Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our services
The biggest difference is the tool used to create the hair-like strokes. Nano Brows are done with a digital tattoo machine that implants pigment using a very fine needle, while Microblading uses a manual hand tool with tiny blades. Because Nano Brows place pigment into the skin with controlled precision rather than tiny scratches, the skin experiences less trauma, which can lead to faster healing and better pigment retention compared to Microblading. Nano Brows are suitable for most skin types, but they’re especially ideal for mature, thin, or oily skin where Microblading may not heal as well.
Nano Brows are considered a premium, advanced technique performed by highly trained permanent makeup artists. They’re designed to heal beautifully, age softly, and retain pigment longer than traditional methods—while being suitable for a wider range of skin types. Because pigment is implanted using a single ultra-fine needle, the skin experiences minimal trauma, which means less discomfort and faster healing. The process takes a little longer than Microblading, but with proper aftercare, Nano Brows can last up to two years longer.
It’s recommended to avoid heavy exercise, caffeine, and alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cosmetic treatments like chemical peels, Botox, or laser services can impact your results, so please avoid these for 4 weeks before and after your Nano Brow appointment. Skincare products containing Retin-A or glycolic acid should also be paused for 3 weeks before and after to support proper healing. Bringing a hat is also encouraged to help protect your brows from direct sunlight after your appointment.
The Nano Brow service can take anywhere between 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
Nano Brows create soft hair-like strokes for a natural look, while Ombre Brows use gentle shading for a fuller, makeup-like finish.
Not really. The Nano and Ombre Brow technique is quite gentle. After the first pass, a secondary numbing gel is applied to keep the area comfortable throughout the treatment. You may feel mild discomfort, but we take every step to ensure the experience is as pain-free as possible.
Under 18, Pregnant or breastfeeding, On Accutane (within 12 months), Allergic to numbing agents, Undergoing chemo or radiation, Autoimmune or healing disorders, Uncontrolled diabetes, Taking blood thinners, Iron deficiency, Heart conditions, Some medications or skin concerns can also affect eligibility. If you're unsure, please reach out so we can assess your suitability before booking.
The nano brow healing process takes about 6–8 weeks. right after your appointment, the brows will look darker, but they usually soften by about 20% once healed. A few days in, you may notice some light scabbing. This is completely normal and the scabs will naturally dry and flake off. Once this happens, the brows might look very light or even a bit grey at first—don’t worry, the color returns within about a week. Most people see their true healed results around 2–3 weeks, but full settling continues for several more weeks.
Avoid skincare products with active ingredients like retinol, vitamin c, glycolic acid, other ahas/bhas, niacinamide, or brightening and anti-aging formulas directly on the brow area, as these can fade the pigment faster. Apply a broad-spectrum spf 30 on your brows daily to help protect the color and prevent premature fading. Optional touch-ups every 1–3 years will keep the detail sharp and the color fresh.
Natural fading will happen over time. this can be influenced by things like sun exposure, lifestyle, skincare habits, medications, diet and hormones. Everyone fades at a different rate since the body gradually breaks the pigment down. In most cases, the pigment becomes softer, more muted, and can take on a slightly ashy tone as it continues to lighten. Keep in mind that some pigment may never fully disappear on its own. If complete removal is ever desired, laser removal is an option for lifting or clearing remaining cosmetic tattoo pigment.
Yes, however if you have concerns about allergies, we can arrange a patch test. this involves placing a very small line of pigment in the hairline at least 6–8 days before your appointment to ensure there is no reaction.
Nano brows- Best for normal to dry skin types. Nano brows are ideal if you want a very soft, hair-like look and already have some brow hair. They also work well for mature skin since the technique is gentle. Ombre brows- Best for normal to oily and combination skin. Ombre tends to heal the most stable on oilier skin types and gives a soft powdery finish. Great if you like a filled-in makeup look. Combination brows- Best for normal to combination skin. This technique blends hair strokes with shading, so it’s perfect if you want both definition and natural texture. Great for sparse areas that need a bit more coverage.
